On My Mind...
Youngest spent yesterday and last night throwing up. I have to wash basically every bit of bedding in the house.
My wife leaves this morning on her weekend girls trip to Dallas.
The eldest had school today.
I'm confused why the digital garden plugin publishes so many notes when nothing really changes. I found one issue was that dataview queries that didn't have a sort or limit change constantly but that would really only effect a few notes. Even if I only add one note, it'll publish something like 90-200 notes at a time. While weird, the real issue is that it fills my xml feeds with garbage. I'll need to alter it to only use file creation time.
I figured out a fun thing with Templater in Obsidian. If I wrap the front matter opening in templater tags I can alter the front matter within it. This lets me set defaults around publication without publishing the templates themselves. Very handy.
I want to make tonkatsu curry tonight.
I made to pull requests to the digital garden plugin. The first one was to fix an issue in how it processes front matter wikilinks which is an odd case but one I have on my game site. The other is that the plugin was including the file update time in the hashing to detect changes. This isn't awful but it means it thinks lots of files change when things get synced or indexed.
